Mini, the youngest daughter of the narrator, was both afraid and fascinated of the cabuliwallah. The cabuliwallahβs bag was the center of curiosity of Mini. One day the author found Mini and the cabuliwallah talking and laughing and cracking jokes. Unknowingly they became friends but their friendship got a full stop when the cabuliwallah was arrested by police. After eight years he got released from jail and came to meet Mini, on her wedding day. The narrator did not allow at first and then the cabuliwallah took out a piece of paper from his rob and unfolded it carefully and laid on the tableβ¦β¦β¦β¦.
